Show Notes

The start of a new year is one of the best inflection points for your finances.

As the calendar turns over, it’s that time of year when people set goals and resolutions. It turns out that financial goals are both the most popular and most successful type of resolution people set. But even though it’s the most successful, the success rate is only 12%.

Honestly, I’m not all that surprised to hear that 9 out of 10 people fail to meet their financial goals. It’s not that financial success is magic, but it’s one of those things that’s much easier to achieve when you have help.

This week, I’m diving into the archives to share one of the most popular episodes of the past year, Episode 24: Do It Yourself Or Hire An Advisor.

In this episode, you’ll learn:

  • How to think about doing any given task versus hiring a professional
  • The value of an advisor according to a prominent study
  • Common mistakes investors make on their own

There are really nice tax planning, investment, and capital allocation opportunities right now. If you want to feel less stressed about your finances, optimize your savings and investments, or make sure you’re not missing anything, you may need to consider hiring a financial advisor.

This episode is an excellent place to start.

If you feel like you have outgrown basic financial advice and want to get a clear plan for your finances and investments, I’m here to help.

Enjoy this great rewind!
